Pac Coast January 2 & 3, 2009
Rated possibly the toughest tournament on the West Coast before the State Tournament. Tyler takes 2nd place @ 135lbs losing in the finals 0-1. The only point being a technical (which happened to be one that is not normally called).

Tri State Day 2 12/20/08 Takes 4th in the finals.
Lost 2 close matches over both days to Daniel Swain of Newport. Tyler was ahead till the very end in both.
